Job Summary: The Material Handler II is responsible for moving materials within a warehouse or storage facility using hand trucks, Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), and hand-held scanning devices. They should have knowledge of commonly-used inventory practices and rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform their job functions. This position may require a high school diploma and typically reports to a supervisor or manager while working under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. It may also require 1-3 years of general work experience. Requirements Duties/Responsibilities: ? Swiftly move materials between workstations and inventory using pallet jacks, carts and Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) ? Accurately perform systematic inventory transactions using a computer or handheld device ? Maintain cleanliness in the work area and ensure equipment and machinery remain clean throughout the shift ? Execute any other assigned duties promptly and effectively Required Skills/Abilities: ? Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) experience ? Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced, occasionally stressful environments ? Precise adherence to written and verbal directives ? Flexibility to adjust to production requirements Education and Experience: ? High school diploma or equivalent preferred Physical Requirements: ? Prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting at a workstation ? Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times Shift: M-F 7:30am - 4pm
