Our company is built on integrity, creating the world’s best restaurants, nightlife, and events.  ROLE SUMMARY:  The receiving agent will assist a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and food service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, has a positive attitude, and will thrive in a team environment.   RESPONSIBILITIES:  * -Responsible for inspecting and verifying that the correct quantities and types of food items are received. This includes checking the condition of the goods and ensuring they meet quality standards.   * -After receiving the goods, the agent must update the inventory records in the restaurant's system to reflect the correct stock levels. This ensures that the kitchen staff has accurate information for their orders.   * -Organize and store the received goods in the appropriate locations within the restaurant. This includes placing items in designated areas for easy access and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.  * -Communicate with suppliers and other staff members to resolve any issues or discrepancies with the received goods. This ensures that all parties are informed and that the restaurant's inventory is accurate.  * -Responsible for processing returns due to damages or incorrect shipments and reporting any discrepancies to the restaurant's management.  * -Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.  * -Other duties as assigned by Head Chef.     REQUIREMENTS:  * -Must have 2-3 years on Food and Beverage Industry or related.  * -Must have at least 1 year experience in a high-volume environment.  * -Must be 18+ years of age.  * -Must be authorized to work in the United States.  * -Must be able to work in hot/cold, and/or wet areas.  * -Must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting plates, boxes, and objects up to 30lbs.  * -Must have a strong understanding of restaurant health and safety regulations, attentive and detail oriented.    PERKS:  * -Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance with company contribution offered the first of the month after 60 days of employment.   * -Company Dining Discount. 
Responsibilities
