JSP Accounting is growing and looking for a Administrative Assistant to oversee our staff in servicing our corporate and personal clients. We are a firm of young professionals in the GTA area with over 180 corporate clients in various industries. Our boutique office environment allows for proper work-life balance and flex hours. We are looking for a professional who is highly energetic and looking to grow with our firm.
Work hours:
Hours (generally) 9am - 5pm, busy season (February - April) 8:30am - 5:30pm, Summer Hours (July - August) early Fridays at 2pm.

SUMMARY

The Administrative Assistant will be required to perform an array of administrative tasks for the company. They must be able to multi-task and be able to handle a busy environment. They must have strong analytical and organizational skills and have advanced knowledge in MS office.

CREDENTIALS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 1-2 years of administrative or receptionist experience is an asset
  • Computer literacy with advanced knowledge of Excel and Word is required
  • Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects
  • Time management and prioritizing skills
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Positive attitude, transparency, integrity, reliability, and striving for best results
  • Taking initiative and accepting responsibility for decisions

QUALITATIVE REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be very detail-oriented working with financial data in order to ensure completeness and accuracy of information
  • Maintains professional written and verbal communication skills throughout client and staff interactions
  • Highly organized and uses professional judgement in decision making
  • Effectively manages multiple assignments, adapts to changing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Works well in a collaborative setting with a team while actively contributing
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
