Title: Receptionist/Administrator
Location: 484 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury, Ontario
Hours: 40 (8:00am-5:00pm)
Position: Fulltime

Education: College preferred (experience can replace educational requirement)
David Reynolds and Associates Inc. is licensed by the Canadian Government to provide various debt help services. These services include Consumer Proposals, Bankruptcies, Division 1 Proposals and other debt help measures designed to help people and businesses in Northern Ontario manage and fix overwhelming debt problems.
The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills as many required tasks are shared between staff located in our 4 different offices in Northern Ontario
David Reynolds and Associates Inc. supports and encourages its staff to reach their future employment goals within the firm by providing for continued education towards accredited programs offered by The Canadian Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Practitioners. These courses include the credit counsellors program, the Estate Administrator’s program, and the Licensed Insolvency Trustee program.
We are currently looking for a highly organized, computer-savvy individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our staff with a variety of administrative tasks, focusing on preparing paperwork for appointments, managing a digital filing system, and ensuring efficient office operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Receptionist, Administrative Assistant or similar role.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Pro (REQUIRED).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification is a plus.
  • Industry experience an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and organize paperwork for in-person and virtual appointments, ensuring all necessary documents are accurate and complete.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls.
  • Sending various correspondence to debtors and creditors alike.
  • Manage and maintain a digital calendar for 7-8 staff members in 4 locations.
  • Assist in creating content/links for virtual appointments when required.
  • Manage and maintain a digital filing system, ensuring all documents are stored securely and can be accessed efficiently.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe products to create, format, and manage documents.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve and streamline administrative processes.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as needed to support the team.
