EDUCATION:

  • Post secondary diploma or equivalent is considered an asset.
  • Prior experience in industrial customer service is considered an asset.
  • Valid G class driver’s license and mode of transportation are required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • French is considered an asset.
  • Understanding of privacy and confidentiality measures.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and/or bookkeeping roles.
  • Strong financial and mathematical abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external individuals in English.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent Problem solving and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with various computer programs, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to work alone or with others within the company.
  • Ability to adapt to last-minute changes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying files, documents or small office items weighing up to 10 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome customers or visitors via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Assist customers through the ordering process via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Process transactions from the point-of-sale terminal and through online banking.
  • Reconcile daily sales transactions and maintain an organized record of the transactions.
  • Scanning and filing documents.
  • Support the Sales and Customer Administrator in maintaining accurate scale ticket records.
  • Team player and display professionalism toward our companies and customers.
  • Work in accordance with all internal, client and regulated health and safety policies, procedures and/or regulations, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
