JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse with reception duties to join our award winning, state of the art dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent patient care skills, strong organisational abilities, and the capacity to communicate effectively with both patients and team members. You will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care in a welcoming environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be on any NEBDN accredited course before signing contracts. The practice is able to assist the ideal candidate to enroll and register with an online course.
• Strong communication skills in English are required to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred but not mandatory; however, a passion for patient care is essential.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Training in dental software systems will be given as part of induction training.
• A caring attitude towards patients of all ages, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
• Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring patients, answering their questions, and addressing any concerns they may have regarding their appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using IT systems efficiently.
• Ensure that the dental surgery is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Sterilise instruments and manage infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling billing inquiries as needed.
