Centre is hiring a full time Reception Client Care Specialist to cover a maternity leave from September 2025 to September 2026. We’re looking for a personable yet highly professional “service extraordinaire” to join us in delivering our mission to our clients and their pets. About the Role The role of the Reception Client Care Specialist (CCS) is to strengthen the client, animal, veterinary bond through exceptional client service and education. Your role is vital to the success of our hospital! You are the first and last point of contact and have the ability to leave a lasting impression building trust and loyalty with our clients. Your responsibility is to enhance the client’s experience by coordinating between the clients and members of the medical team. Your primary goal is to ensure the clients and their pets feel welcomed, expertly cared for and appreciated. Key responsibilities and qualifications The ideal candidate is organized, calm under pressure and customer service focused, ideally you have: Prior experience in customer service and administrative duties Prior knowledge/or ability to learn medical terminology and VCA inhouse systems; Woofware Exceptional client service skills Empathetic, nurturing and positive attitude Skilled in prioritizing needs, open to change and adaptable Initiative in carrying out assignments independently Attention to detail with above average time management skills Must be flexible and available to work shift work (early as 6am and late as 2am), weekdays, weekends and holidays.
