PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
· To lead and inspire the Front of House team (Reception, Concierge, Nights) to provide the highest level of service;
· To oversee the day to day operations of Front of House with a focus on guest satisfaction and service delivery;
DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· To lead and inspire the Front of House Team to provide the highest level of service
· To create a positive, energetic, standards-driven, results-focused working environment
· To act as a mentor and role model for the FOH team
· To inspire and develop each team member to reach their fullest potential
· To oversee and monitor departmental training programmes
· To ensure all hotel standards are consistently delivered and guest expectations exceeded
· To manage performance and set targets for the FOH team
· To manage guest relations and ensure guest feedback is responded to in a timely and appropriate manner
· To attend meetings representing the department and relaying all vital information to the FOH team
· To communicate effectively with all departments and build strong working relationships
· To promote awareness of hotel events and create a culture of strong product knowledge within the team
· To operate a recruiting for excellence policy ensuring the highest calibre of new FOH team members
· To ensure all departmental Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to
