RECEPTION MANAGER – FULL TIME

Red Hall Hotel, Bury
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires a proactive individual who is organised, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication skills.

SKILLS

  • Strong administrative skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
  • A minimum of one year’s experience in a similar managerial role in a hotel
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • A warm, approachable manner and excellent customer service abilities
  • Experience with training or using guestline Rezlynx software is desirable but not essential
  • The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong computer literacy, including typing skills and familiarity with office software.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

DUTIES

  • Act as Manager on Duty when required
  • Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls with excellent phone etiquette.
  • Lead, support and train the reception team
  • Manage the reception area to ensure it is tidy and presentable.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Assist with clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and photocopying documents.
  • Use Google Suite for scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and creating documents.
  • Support the finance and events department
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations.
