Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate the reception team to deliver exceptional guest service at all times.
  • Oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for guest queries, concerns, and special requests.
  • Manage room bookings and ensure accurate data entry into the reservation system.
  • Monitor and improve reception procedures to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with all hotel departments to ensure a cohesive and high-quality guest experience.
  • Prepare staff rotas, manage absences, and ensure adequate shift coverage.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach.
  • Oversee billing, invoicing, and payment processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the onboarding and training of new reception staff, ensuring high standards are maintained

Objectives:

  • Be a role model for exceptional service, embodying our values and service philosophy.
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed and regularly reviewed.
  • Conduct return-to-work interviews, performance appraisals, and manage staff development.
  • Monitor departmental budgets and contribute ideas for cost-effective improvements.
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration between reception, management, and other departments.
