Full Time M-F 9am-5pm no weekends or holidays We are seeking a professional, organized, reliable front desk/reception person who can work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment. This is a full time 1st shift position. JOB SUMMARY: The Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the organization. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: *   None. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: * Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location. * Ensures that visitors sign in and out. * Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments. * Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items. * Facilitates communication when fire alarm in use/calls to 911.  * Performs administrative and clerical support tasks. * Performs basic filing and recordkeeping. * Performs other duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:  * Excellent verbal communication skills. * Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. * Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems. * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * High school diploma or equivalent required.   PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  * Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk. * Must be able to walk up and down stairs, as necessary. * Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
