JOB DESCRIPTION

At Whakaata Māori, we are fuelled by a deep passion for our unique stories and heritage. We believe that our cultural roots are a powerful force that can transcend time, connecting us to our past, present, and future all at once. Our journey began with Tāne, whose bravery and vision allowed him to bring light to a dark world. In the same spirit, we are on a mission to illuminate the world with our powerful and diverse storytelling. Just like Tamarereti’s waka, Puna Ariki, we are moving towards a new horizon.
Our team is a diverse and dynamic crew that works together to showcase the brilliance of our heritage. We are committed to preserving our cultural treasures while also navigating the currents of modern times. Every day, we work tirelessly to create stories that inspire and enlighten, so that our mokopuna and future generations can thrive and succeed in Aotearoa.
