We are currently seeking an organised and experienced Reception Supervisor to assist in leading our Reception team. Atholl Palace Hotel Receptionists play a vital role in delivering an exceptional guest experience to all of our guests, as supervisor you will lead by example, support and guide the team and ensure that every guest interaction is handled with professionalism, warmth and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in a front desk or receptionist role; previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Canvas
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Knowledge of telephone systems and visitor management software is an advantage.
  • You should have experience in a similar role in a hotel of a minimum 4* rating

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support the front desk team, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company protocols.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate reception staff, providing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Monitor front desk operations, ensuring timely and professional handling of calls, emails, and visitor check-ins.
  • Create staff schedules, manage shift coverage, and approve time off requests.
  • Resolve escalated visitor or client concerns in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Ensure front desk materials, forms, and supplies are stocked and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support smooth office operations.
