Responsibilities

SUPERVISOR DUTIES

  • Supervise and support reception staff in daily operations
  • Maintain reception schedules and ensure adequate front desk coverage
  • Communicate policies, updates, and schedules to staff
  • Train, mentor, and coach new and existing reception employees
  • Conduct performance reviews and promptly address issues
  • Lead monthly reception staff meetings
  • Approve timecards and maintain accurate attendance records
  • Partner with leadership to improve patient flow, efficiency, and front desk processes

Preferred Qualifications

Key Responsibilities Reception Duties

  • Answer and transfer phone calls promptly and professionally
  • Greet and check in patients with courtesy and efficiency
  • Schedule and confirm appointments; coordinate follow-up visits
  • Accurately enter and update patient demographic and billing information
  • Collect payments and initiate payment plans as needed
  • Prepare and review patient charts, forms, and documentation
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as daily mail, deposits, and scanning records
  • Promote and adhere to infection control standards and confidentiality requirement
