JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a professional and friendly Reception Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy office environment.

SKILLS

  • Previous Front office experience is essential for this role.
  • Knowledge of Opera would be advantageous.
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace applications.
  • Strong administrative experience with an emphasis on organisational skills.
  • Excellent phone etiquette to ensure professional communication with clients.
  • Typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
  • Clerical experience that demonstrates ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous but not mandatory. This position is ideal for individuals looking to further their career in an administrative capacity while contributing to a dynamic team environment. Responsibilities
  • Checking guests in and out.
  • Greet guests and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Training and supervising the team.
  • Answer and direct phone calls with excellent phone etiquette.
  • Maximising revenue and minimising loss within the Department.
  • Promoting food and beverage facilities.
  • Providing information to guests on all hotel products and services.
  • Be involved with taking payments & balancing floats.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle administrative duties such as filing, typing, and clerical tasks.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars.
  • Utilise Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for various documentation needs.
  • Process invoices and assist with basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks.
  • Support other team members with administrative tasks as required.
