Start Date: 2nd September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only, Onsite, Contract
Salary: £95 to £100 per day
Interview Date: 26th June 2025
Are you a confident Reception 1:1 ASD specialist who can hit the ground running with two lively characters and an equally brilliant team? We are seeking a proactive Reception 1:1 ASD practitioner to support two children on the autism spectrum within a dynamic and welcoming mainstream setting. This full-time, term-time only contract offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced staff and provide meaningful support for pupils who need tailored attention.
About the Role
This Reception 1:1 ASD role involves working with two potentially challenging pupils in a Reception class. A warm, firm approach to behaviour management, as well as a sound grasp of phonics and early years development, will be essential. The class benefits from a strong setup — two Teaching Assistants and an experienced class teacher — and you will be welcomed into a collaborative, supportive environment. Ideal for someone confident with ASD or someone looking to transition into education, particularly graduates considering teacher training in the future.
