JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Receptionist at The Grand, York your main responsibility will be building relationships with every guest walking through the doors of our spectacular hotel. You will ensure that our guests are welcomed in a warm and friendly manner, showcasing 5* standards throughout every interaction.
You will be responsible for completing administrative tasks such as check-in and check-out, allocating rooms and direct guests accordingly, preparing room bills and ensuring prompt payments, responding to guest requests and providing information and assistance with booking restaurants, local amenities and attractions. You will be the first point of contact for guests’ enquiries during their stay, making sure that complaints are dealt with in a polite and timely manner to achieve maximum guests’ satisfaction whilst preventing a loss of revenue
