Job Title: Receptionist with Accounting Responsibilities
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Receptionist with Accounting Responsibilities. This dual-role position requires a professional who can effectively manage front-desk operations while also performing basic accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, a strong aptitude for numbers, and the ability to multitask efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

Receptionist Duties (50%)

  • Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries to appropriate departments.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including courier services.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and supply inventory.

Basic Accounting Functions (50%)

  • Process and record invoices, payments, and receipts in eStore.
  • Perform data entry for financial transactions and reconcile accounts.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Prepare bank deposits and maintain financial records.
  • Generate basic financial reports as needed.
  • Support the accounting team with month-end and year-end closing activities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent a must
  • Associate’s degree in business, accounting, or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and experience with accounting programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
