Ballard Truck Center in Worcester, MA is looking for a Receptionist / Accounts Payable Clerk.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in an office, accounting, or dealership setting.
  • Familiarity with basic office procedures and accounting support.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively across departments.
  • Positive, professional demeanor with strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with CDK is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming phone calls, direct them to the appropriate person or department, or respond to inquiries when possible.
  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Scan and electronically file invoices, accounts payable checks, and other financial or administrative documents.
  • Prepare and post bank deposits.
  • Electronically deposit checks using remote deposit software.
  • Assist Accounts Payable with entering invoices, reconciling statements, and other tasks as needed.
  • Distribute incoming mail and process outgoing mail.
  • Handle daily cash receipts and customer payments.
  • Maintain organization of front desk and filing areas.
  • Complete various administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
  • Follow all established procedures, company policies, and applicable laws.
