CEPTIONIST / ADMIN

Channel Construction is looking for a receptionist to join their team. We are looking for an individual with strong communication and telephone etiquette skills. Must be highly organised and prioritize tasks,

KPA’s

  • Responsible for the full receptionist function
  • Answer switchboard in a timeous manner and route all calls accurately
  • Take accurate detailed messages and forward them to the appropriate person
  • Responsible for receiving calls, escalating, and screening calls
  • Welcome visitors and re-direct them to appropriate person
  • Responsible for ordering office supplies e.g stationery, refreshments e.t.c
  • Make arrangements / Liaise with the travel agent, courier companies, suppliers , clients e.t.c
  • Perform ad-hoc administrative duties
  • Provide admin support to the Tender Manager
  • BBBEE administrative duties
  • All of the above but not limited to..

REQUIREMENTS

  • Administrative Course / Certificate is an advantage
  • 1-2 years receptionist / admin experience

DESIRED SKILLS

  • High proficiency in MS Office & Excel
  • Must be organized and systematic
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers
  • Knowledgeable on the BBBEE verification process would be a plus
