Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our Reception. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Duties
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Take payment on the till and give information to customers correctly.
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as necessary
- Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain Cleanliness of giftshop and restock where necessary
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Assist with general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks
Skills
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in office software applications
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and experience using QuickBooks is preferred
- Problem Solver
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
