Aura Music Academy is an exciting and innovative music education centre with purpose-built studios in Altrincham and Wilmslow. We provide music lessons of the highest standard in state-of-the-art facilities, and have grown substantially over the past few years. We are now looking for a dedicated and dynamic full-time receptionist/administrator to join our team.

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable manner
  • Strong IT skills, with confidence using Word, Excel, and Google Drive
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
  • A positive attitude and a strong work ethic

Hours & Location

  • Full-time role, based primarily at our Altrincham studio
  • Core hours: Monday–Friday, 2pm–9pm (some flexibility for earlier finishes can be discussed)
  • Occasional weekend work (approx. 3–4 weekends per year) to support mock exams and concerts
  • Some travel to our Wilmslow studio and occasional remote working may be required

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a key position within the academy, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations and maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction. The right candidate will bring energy, initiative, and professionalism, and will play an important role in supporting both our students, their families and tutors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing email enquiries, lesson rescheduling, and tutor absence requests
  • Organising tutor calendars and lesson schedules
  • Booking new students into available slots and issuing invoices
  • Keeping student records up to date in our My Music Staff system
  • Answering phone calls and handling enquiries with professionalism
  • Liaising with the management team to support school operations
