SPEECH FOR EVERYONE – COFFS HARBOUR

We’ve had a little run of receptionist adventures this year — our last team member is relocating with her partner. We’re now looking for someone who’s excited to settle in and grow with us long-term.
Speech for Everyone is a vibrant, client-focused speech pathology clinic providing personalised, evidence-based services to individuals of all ages. We’re a supportive team who value warmth, professionalism, and making a difference in our clients’ lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front Desk Support: Welcome clients and visitors with warmth; respond to phone and email enquiries.
  • Appointment Management: Schedule and manage client bookings and calendars using practice management software.
  • Client Records: Maintain accurate digital records using cloud-based systems.
  • Invoicing & Payments: Process invoices and payments (Medicare, NDIS, private billing) and assist with end-of-month reporting.
  • Administrative Support: Assist clinicians with document preparation, proofreading, and maintaining clinic communications.
  • Office Presentation: Ensure the clinic is tidy, professional, and welcoming.
  • Liaison: Communicate with external providers (schools, NDIS coordinators, allied health professionals) to support client care.

What We’re Looking For

  • A warm and professional communication style
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently while following set procedures
  • Comfortable with technology and cloud-based systems
  • A team player with a willingness to learn
  • Previous allied health or medical reception experience is desirable but not essential

Why Join Us?

  • Flexible working hours
  • Supportive and positive team culture
  • Training and onboarding provided
  • Opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives every day
