JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly organized and professional Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service to our Midwifery clients and support to our office administrator and team of 12 Midwives . The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming environment to our clients. This is a 3 month contract for 4 days per week with the potential for ongoing part time work. This position is for our Owen Sound clinic however, ability to work at our Walkerton clinic at times would be an asset.

SKILLS

  • Strong clerical skills with experience in filing and data entry.
  • Familiarity with ACCURO EMR is an asset
  • Excellent administrative abilities, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in documentation.
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a focus on phone etiquette.
  • Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and supporting team members.
  • A passion for women’s health and the tenets of Midwifery
