P. Machibroda Engineering Ltd. (PMEL) is a Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering Consulting firm based in Saskatoon, SK. We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented and positive administrative professional to join our dynamic award-winning team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the day-to-day office while providing comprehensive administrative support to our geotechnical engineers. This role requires a strong attention to detail with the ability to take initiative while effectively handling conflicting priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in an administrative role or relevant training/education.
  • Superior organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact positively with clients and the team.
  • Excellent proofreading abilities with a keen attention to detail to ensure high-quality documentation.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Adobe.
  • Basic Accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy, accepting payments, handling incoming and outgoing mail and parcels.
  • Providing detailed and accurate administrative support, including data entry, compiling, editing, formatting, and preparation of documents, reports, and other correspondence.
  • Assisting engineers with various project activities, including supporting the pre-qualification process, updating our ERP system, etc.
  • Maintaining an organized office environment by ensuring the office is tidy, managing supplies and equipment.
  • Filing, scanning documents and assisting with the electronic file storage migration.
  • Assist with basic accounting tasks.
  • Continued attention to safety.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.
