GP RECEPTIONIST/ADMIN ASSISTANT VACANCY
We are looking for a friendly and efficient Receptionist/Admin Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate would need to have previous experience of working in a customer service environment.
You must enjoy working with people and have excellent communication skills. You will be expected to create a welcome environment and provide a professional and courteous reception service to all our patients.
The position can be very demanding and fast moving at times so the ability to learn new skills quickly and easily and prioritise workload are essential skills. You must be computer illiterate, possess good communication skills. Verbal and written skills are a must. You will be required to attend staff meetings and any training appropriate to the role.
You must be flexible with regards to hours of work in order to cover for colleague’s annual leave and sickness will be required. The Practice is open from 8 am - 6:30 pm. The post will be for 30 hours unless covering annual/sick leave and rate of pay will be depending upon experience. This will include covering the reception and undertaking administration tasks.
Monday - 1:30 to 6:30 pm
Tuesday- Thursdays 1 to 6:30 pm
Fridays 09:00 am to 6:30 pm
The successful candidate will benefit from 4 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata) and have the option of enrolling onto the excellent NHS pension scheme.
