Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Sutton Coldfield
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: £25,000 per annum

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a professional, organised, and friendly receptionist to join our team. This is a front-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of reception duties and administrative tasks. Experience working within an accountancy practice is advantageous.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a reception or secretarial role
  • Strong typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Experience working in an accountancy practice is highly advantageous
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact, welcoming clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answer incoming telephone calls, handle enquiries, and direct calls appropriately
  • Provide secretarial support including the typing of letters, emails, and financial/accounting documents
  • Assist with the preparation and formatting of accounts and correspondence
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post, including opening, scanning, and distributing mail
  • Order and maintain office supplies, including stationery and cleaning equipment
  • Maintain a clean and tidy reception and communal office area
  • Provide general administrative support to partners and other team members as needed
