As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for a dedicated, professional, and career-focused Receptionist to join our team. This role is a central part of our practice, ensuring that clients feel supported and welcomed from the moment they connect with us.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Full-Time Receptionist to provide front-line support to our clients and clinicians, Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
This position is ideal for someone who is looking for more than just a job. It’s an opportunity to build a long-term career in client support and practice management within the mental health sector. While we understand students studying psychology may be interested, this role requires full-time availability and commitment. We are seeking a candidate who is motivated to grow within our practice, with clear career progression opportunities into Client Support Services - Team Leader and Practice Manager roles.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Delivering exemplary customer service as the first point of contact for Safe House Psychology.
  • Managing inbound calls, emails, and client communication with professionalism and warmth.
  • Scheduling and managing client appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling.
  • Processing client payments, managing accounts, and handling Medicare rebates.
  • Maintaining accurate records using our Client Management System.
  • Liaising with GPs, insurers, and other external providers.
  • Supporting clinicians and the Director with administrative tasks.
  • Assisting with marketing, social media, and community engagement activities.
  • Conducting intake assessments at the time of booking.
  • Managing confidential records and upholding client confidentiality at all times.
