AG Hotels Group is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented receptionist to join our team at The Embassy Hotel, Gateshead. As a receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Availability to day shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Professional appearance and demeaner
Responsibilities
  • Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and provide information about the hotel and local area
  • Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally
  • Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable
  • Perform audit and ensure the safety and security of guests and the premises
  • Help during dinner service
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as updating guest records
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Handle emergency situations and follow appropriate procedures
  • Any other task as requested by the Line Manager
