Description SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: This position greets visitors, answers a multi-line phone system, and directs calls to appropriate department/personnel. Creates an environment that promotes a feeling of importance in every customer. Will perform the following tasks in a way that reflects H&R Agri-Power’s mission to provide quality products/service at a fair price to afford a reasonable return on assets. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Answer phones in a courteous and polite manner, direct to the appropriate department/personnel as needed. Greet incoming customers with a smile and escort to the appropriate department. Pay close attention to customer’s needs and take reasonable measurements to ensure complete satisfaction. Receive USPS mail; sort and distribute appropriately. Maintain and file documents and invoices. Regularly operate standard office equipment (ex. Fax machine, copier) Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception area and sales floor. Maintain a positive, professional, and safe work environment by interacting with customers, peers, management and support resources in a way that promotes teamwork and a commitment to excellence. Complete all other tasks as assigned by leadership. Requirements EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or Equivalent. 1+ years in customer service. Familiar with working on a computer for work-related purposes. Familiarity with farm equipment/agriculture a plus, but not a requirement. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
