JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Dental Center Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the welcoming face of our dental practice, responsible for managing front office activities, coordinating patient appointments, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our clinic. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive experience for our patients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Office Administration or Dental Office Management is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a dental or medical office setting.
  • Skills:
  • Arabic and English Language Skills required (Tagalog is an added plus)
  • Proficiency in dental practice management software (e.g., Clinic Soft) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and insurance procedures.
  • Customer service orientation with a focus on patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
  • Patient Interaction:
  • Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the dental center.
  • Check patients in and out, ensuring all necessary information is collected and accurate.
  • Manage patient flow and coordinate seating in the waiting area.
  • Answer, screen, and direct phone calls, taking messages as needed.
  • Address patient inquiries regarding appointments, services, and billing, providing clear and accurate information.
  • Appointment Scheduling:
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments using our practice management software.
  • Send reminders for upcoming appointments and follow-ups via phone.
  • Coordinate appointment bookings to optimize the dental center’s schedule and reduce wait times.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Process patient registration and update patient records with accurate information.
  • Collect and process payments, issue receipts, and manage patient billing inquiries.
  • Record payments in the registers
  • Maintain and organize the reception area, ensuring it is clean, tidy, and well-stocked with necessary materials (e.g., brochures, forms).
  • Insurance and Billing Support:
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits before appointments.
  • Office Coordination:
  • Assist dental staff with administrative tasks, such as preparing patient charts and sending out correspondence.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality by adhering to DOH regulations and dental practice policies.
