We have a multidisciplinary allied health therapy team that provides services predominately to children with disability. Our services include Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy and Behaviour Support.
We are looking for a Receptionist to join our busy Administration team. We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, friendly, and keen to learn! We will provide full training, however, our ideal applicant has experience working as a receptionist in an Allied Health Clinic. This is a part-time permanent role working Fridays and and a half day on Saturdays. The salary range posted is the full-time equivalent.

As a receptionist at Sensia Allied Health, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Making and receiving phone calls
  • Scheduling of clients using our practice management software (Splose)
  • Greeting clients and their families to make them feel welcome
  • Taking payments/invoicing
  • Updating client service agreements
  • Following up on invoices with NDIS Plan Managers and Agencies
  • Data entry
  • Running errands
  • Sorting and sending mail
  • Filing
  • Supporting therapists with admin tasks
  • Medicare rebates
  • Maintaining client files
  • Email correspondence
  • Liaising with external organisations e.g. (clients, suppliers, health professionals, health funds etc.)
  • Printing and scanning
  • General office duties

Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience working as a receptionist or similar administration role within allied health.
  • Familiarity with the NDIS essential.
  • Proficient computer use and capable of navigating a variety of software (Practice software, Google Docs, Excel, Microsoft Teams etc)
  • Working with Children Check
  • National Police Check
  • NDIS Workers Check
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle client requests and complaints as required
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Friendly and helpful!
