Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist and Appointment Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing excellent customer service both in-person and over the phone. This role involves managing the front desk, handling administrative tasks, and efficiently coordinating appointments.
Onsite: Weekends
Remote Working: Weekdays
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus
- Proven experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with office equipment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience with scheduling software or appointment management systems
- Experience in EPIC is advantageous
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: Up to £200.00 per day
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
- Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner
- Assist patients in person, over the phone, and via email with inquiries about services, scheduling, and other concerns
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal use of the hospital’s time and resources
- Maintain an organized and clean reception area
- Process and manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and operations
- Act as chaperone if required, ensuring patient’s comfort and support
- Update and maintain patient’s records and databases with accuracy
- Assist with administrative tasks and projects as needed.
