Description

Our busy and established Optometry practice located on the Stoney Creek mountain in Hamilton, is currently hiring a permanent, full-time Receptionist. Our practice offers front line primary care, and specialties including Neuro Optometry, vision rehabilitation and vision therapy.
We are looking for a Team member who thrives in a fast-paced environment, was born to multi-task, is able to provide exceptional customer service and who can work independently, as well as part of a team.
Duties of this position include answering and returning patient phone calls, scheduling Optometry appointments and managing the recall system, filing, accepting payments, billing OHIP, and handling patient inquires.
Experience working in an Optometric setting, experience with OHIP reconciliation and computer knowledge/skills, knowledge of OD Office Pro, are assets. Spanish speaker also an asset.
