Job Title: Part-Time Receptionist (25 to 32 hours per week, must be able to work weekends including Saturday & Sunday) Job Description The receptionist is responsible for managing phone calls and performing customer service, along with other clerical duties as assigned. The role involves maintaining the Front Desk Reception area, greeting customers, directing them to various service areas, and contacting salespersons for customer assistance. Additional responsibilities include ordering necessary supplies when authorized by managers and assisting in the smooth functioning of the dealership. The receptionist is expected to maintain a cheerful and professional demeanor towards customers and colleagues. Responsibilities Answer and direct incoming telephone communications. Maintain the Front Desk Reception area. Greet customers and direct them to service areas, coffee, restrooms, or seating areas. Contact salespersons for customer assistance. Order necessary supplies when authorized by managers. Perform other clerical duties as assigned to assist in the smooth functioning of the dealership. Maintain a cheerful and professional demeanor towards customers and other employees. Essential Skills Customer service experience. Outgoing personality. Ability to multitask. Customer service oriented. Administrative support. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Office. Experience with Outlook. Experience in retail sales, food service, or similar industries. Work Environment The position is located in NE Salem, within a dealership that includes Toyota, Subaru, Chevrolet, and Nissan brands. The work schedule includes Monday to Friday from 2:50 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday from either 7:50 AM to 2:00 PM or 1:50 PM to 8:00 PM, and two mandatory Sundays a month from either 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Initial training will be conducted over five days during the day with the Receptionist Assistant Manager and three days closing with another team member. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salem, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
