Responsibilities

  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
  • Address patient inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Scheduling and Appointments:
  • Manage appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations using modern practice management software.
  • Optimize the clinic’s schedule to minimize wait times and maximize efficiency.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed.
  • Process insurance claims and assist patients with billing questions.
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
  • Monitor and manage office supplies, ordering when necessary.
  • Technology and Systems:
  • Utilize advanced dental practice management software to manage patient records and scheduling.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and digital communication tools.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with dental hygienists, assistants, and dentists to ensure a cohesive and efficient practice.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving patient experiences.
