Lola Lash Bar is the go-to place for everything eyelashes! Lola Lash Bar is Calgary’s most trusted name in eyelash extensions with five convenient Calgary locations. Our new Marda Loop location is hiring a Receptionist/Barista. This is a permanent position, not a Summer position.
This hybrid role requires someone who can balance welcoming clients, managing bookings, and handling front-of-house tasks, while also preparing and serving high-quality coffee and matcha beverages. You’ll be the first friendly face our clients see - and the one who hands them their perfectly crafted latte.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Previous experience as a barista preferred.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
• Basic knowledge of coffee and matcha preparation techniques (training provided).
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

• Greet and check in clients with warmth and professionalism.
• Manage appointments via our booking system (phone, email, and in-person).
• Handle payments and maintain accurate daily cash-out procedures.
• Prepare and serve coffee, matcha and specialty drinks to a high standard.
• Keep the reception, coffee bar, and client areas tidy and inviting.
• Provide product information and promote our services and retail offerings.
• Assist with administrative and opening/closing duties as required.
• Regular cleaning tasks - sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, keeping washrooms tidy, and maintaining overall shop cleanliness throughout the day.
