Description

Brickyard Physiotherapy is located in Nanaimo, BC and has a full range of services:
Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Registered Massage Therapy and Kinesiology. We are a busy and growing clinic that wants to make our clients feel comfortable from the moment they walk in the door, from our friendly receptionists to the care of our practitioners.
We are looking for a full-time receptionist/admin to work 40 hours per week Monday – Friday.
The clinic hours are from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. so your shifts may fluctuate. Wage is based on experience, starting at a minimum of $20 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and registering patients
- Answering the phone and checking email, taking messages, and handling patient
inquiries
- Scheduling appointments, reminder calls
- Sending invoices to third party Insurance – WSBC, ICBC and Extended Health Plans
- Collecting payments from clients/Third Party Insurance
- Faxing/Scanning/Managing documents – uploading to client files
- Working as a team player by keeping things clean and tidy
- Laundry – washing and putting away
Requirements:
- Excellent with Microsoft Office and patient booking software (We use JANE – not a
requirement but an asset if you do have experience)
- Experience with office work and front desk responsibilities
- Good/clear communication skills – on the phone and in person
- Customer Service oriented, warm, friendly personality, energetic, enthusiastic, polite, tactful, caring
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Multi-task with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail
