Description The Receptionist for the Business Office is the welcoming face of the school, providing front-desk support and assisting with core business and facilities functions. This part time role focuses on greeting and assisting visitors, supporting routine facilities management tasks (including use of facilities software), performing light accounting duties, and helping with purchasing activities. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and comfortable working in a dynamic school environment. Requirements Qualifications High school diploma required; additional coursework or experience in office administration preferred. Experience in a school, office, or customer-facing environment is preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Comfortable learning and using facilities management or office software. Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a busy environment. Commitment to the mission and values of CAK. Required Qualities, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Display a love for the Lord; support the mission of CAK and possess a sincere, outgoing desire to serve all those associated with CAK Regularly attend and actively participate in a local Christian church Basic word processing, spreadsheet and database skills Ability to operate office technology including use of computers, copiers, and phones Knowledge of organizational procedures to maintain office efficiency Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Working knowledge of school: mission, philosophy, day-to-day operations Ability to work well with others, including administrators, faculty, staff, students, parents, and the community Demonstrate flexibility during busiest times of the year and when unexpected tasks arise Perform other duties as requested by Business Office Administrators or Head of School
