Receptionist/Clerical Assistant-WRSA, SC1RECEPTLRC (FA26) Student Worker Eligibility: Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester. Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived. If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Provide WRSA desk customer service by greeting students, answering calls, taking messages and notifying coaches when an appointment arrives. Schedule appointments and register students. Instruct students to use the appointment software. Monitor WRSA email account and student activity in the WRSA. Be knowledgeable about WRSA, Learning Commons and Library resources. Alphabetize and file paperwork. Assist staff with projects. Distribute flyers and brochures to other college departments as requested. Direct students to various Learning Commons departments and departments throughout the college. Clean WRSA work areas and restock supplies as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Education THIS IS A STUDENT JOB. High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester. Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived. Good communication skills required. Detail oriented with an energetic and positive attitude required. Must be dependable and punctual required. Computer knowledge with keyboarding skills required. Knowledge of Word and Excel programs required. Licenses and Certifications COD Training Compliance Training Working Conditions: Hours: Up to 20 hours per week, some evening and weekend hours required. Copy machine, fax, computer, scanner, phone.
