Position: Receptionist / Clinic Assistant
Location: The Honor Oak Wellness Rooms
Type: Part-time (8.5–12.75 hours per week) with flexibility to cover additional shifts. Must be available on Fridays and alternate Saturdays.

We’re currently seeking a friendly and empathetic Receptionist/Clinic Assistant to join our team and help foster a nurturing and professional environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As our Receptionist/Clinic Assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact for our clients offering a welcoming smile and calm presence. Beyond standard front-desk duties, you’ll play a key role in ensuring a smooth client experience and supporting the wider practice. You’ll also conduct basic service triage, helping clients connect with the practitioner or service that best fits their needs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role (preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for helping others.
  • Ability to perform basic triage and guide clients toward suitable services or practitioners.
  • A caring, empathetic nature and excellent listening skills.
  • Competency with computers and standard office software.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to support the team.
  • Willingness and ability to cover additional shifts, including holidays, when required.
  • Willingness to undertake training, including on the booking systems we use.
Responsibilities
  • Greet clients warmly, making them feel welcome and valued from the moment they arrive.
  • Listen attentively to client needs and concerns, offering empathetic support and guidance.
  • Understand the full range of our services and confidently direct clients to the appropriate practitioner.
  • Promote workshops and classes in a friendly and engaging manner.
  • Manage appointment bookings accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, calm, and inviting reception area.
  • Ensure the clinic remains well-stocked by regularly replenishing supplies in therapy rooms and common areas.
  • Provide general administrative support to practice managers and practitioners, always with a positive and helpful attitude.
