JOIN OUR TEAM AND HELP CHANGE LIVES!

VUE Vision Therapy in Guelph is seeking a warm, organized, and detail-oriented Clinical Support team member to be the first friendly face our patients see. In this role, you’ll welcome families, keep our clinic running smoothly, and support our optometrists and vision therapists in delivering life-changing care to children and young adults. No prior vision therapy experience needed — full training provided!

ABOUT US

At VUE Vision Therapy, we help children and young adults unlock their full potential by strengthening the connection between the brain and the eyes. Our work changes lives — turning frustration into confidence and hope. We specialize in helping bright but struggling students overcome visual processing challenges so they can thrive in school, sports, and everyday life.
We are a values-driven team guided by resourcefulness, curiosity, and connection. We believe in “connect before we correct” — building trust with patients and families before providing solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma (post-secondary education in health, education, or administration is an asset).
  • Proficient in computer systems (Microsoft Office, experience with Jane or other EMR is an asset).
  • Must be available to work some evenings

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Clinical Support team member to be the welcoming face of our clinic and the organizational backbone that keeps our days running smoothly. You’ll greet patients, manage scheduling, process payments, prepare materials for therapy, and support our optometrists and vision therapists in delivering life-changing care.
This is not a sales role — it’s a patient-centered support role where warmth, organization, and attention to detail are key.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Patient Experience: Greet families warmly, create a calm environment, and guide them through their appointments.
  • Scheduling & Communication: Manage appointment bookings, rescheduling, and confirmations through our Jane software. Proactively update families if schedules change.
  • Clinic Operations: Prepare files, forms, and equipment for each patient; maintain cleanliness and organization in all spaces.
  • Administrative Tasks: Process payments, check voicemails/texts/emails, handle faxes and mail, and update patient files accurately.
  • Clinical Support: Assist with pre-testing, Syntonics preparation, and VIP assessments (training provided).
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate updates in Microsoft Teams channels to ensure smooth handoffs between shifts.
  • Special Events: Help with Theme Weeks and other clinic engagement activities.
