A DAY IN THE LIFE OF

We are looking for an ambitious, outgoing and personable Receptionist whose values align with our TEAM; standing for Together, Extra-mile, Accountable and Mindful. The Receptionist will work closely with the Community team, to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day business and facilities. The core focus is to deliver and develop an unrivalled member experience by providing administrative support to members and the team, creating lasting relationships across the community. As the first and last person members will see and therefore needs to be presentable, engaging and hospitable to everyone who visits.

MEMBER EXPERIENCE AND OPERATIONS

  • Responsible for meeting, greeting and assisting with the needs of every member and visitor who visits the location
  • Assisting with communicating with members and the team when guests arrive
  • Handling face-to-face, telephone and email queries from members and visitors; including billing and invoice questions, mail queries, space usage, event and catering enquiries etc. and escalating to relevant team members when required
  • Knowledge of all tech and AV onsite, to be able to assist members with troubleshooting IT-related issues, such as wifi, portal, printing etc. Escalating and liaising with IT support if the issue cannot be resolved
  • Assisting members with issuing access cards
  • Service meeting rooms with coffee, tea and water and ensure that they are cleaned down once members have vacated the room
  • Ensuring meeting rooms are always tidy, clean and dressed to standard and all communal areas are clean and tidy, i.e. chairs tucked under, crockery clean and away, toilets clean and well stocked etc.
  • Communicate clearly with your team, reporting maintenance issues to the manager and in relevant Slack channels

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ideally one year of experience in a customer-facing position, ideally within a reception position however, recent graduates/school leavers will be considered
  • Personable with strong verbal and written communication
  • Exceptionally organised with the ability to multitask
  • Thrives under pressure and solution-oriented
  • University Degree is an advantage
  • Proficient in basic computer skills
  • Good business acumen
  • Prior experience in coworking, real estate, or startup business would be an advantage
  • Fluent in English
