Description

BE AT THE HEART OF HELPING PEOPLE LIVE LONGER, HEALTHIER, HAPPIER LIVES.

You might think you know a lot about Bupa. You’ll know we provide health insurance and aged care services across Australia and you’ve probably also seen our dental and optical clinics in your local shopping centres. But what you might not realise is that we also deliver health assessments on behalf of the Australian Government via Bupa Medical Visa Services, for people who are applying for visas to live, work or study in Australia.
As part of our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, we’re growing our network of Visa Medical Assessment Centres so we can provide a Bupa experience for our visa applicants in the communities where they live. This has created a range of frontline and leadership roles in new purpose-built medical centres and opportunities to grow your career with a global health care brand where our customers are at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our Receptionists are the first point of contact for our customers in our Visa Medical Assessment Centres and provide information and instructions to help guide our customers through the medical assessment process - making sure that customers are aware of what they need to do and why.

Our receptionists come from a wide variety of backgrounds and work experiences. To be successful in the role, you’ll need:

  • Previous administration and customer facing experience - this is not your average receptionist position.
  • Demonstrated customer focus and a professional, service-orientated and helpful approach
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate and constant outcomes in a busy and repetitious environment
  • Well-developed communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers and staff, including people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and adapting communication style to meet the needs of the customer as well as convey information and key points clearly and concisely
  • Sound IT and computer skills
  • The ability to work effectively within a highly structured environment driven by procedure and process, and adhere to established processes, quality standards and target
