Work Location: Clark Quay
Work Week: 6 days per week
Working Hours: Shift 1: from 9 am to 6 pm
2nd Shift: from 12 pm to 9 pm
We represent our client, who is committed to providing affordable, accessible, yet comfortable accommodation with hotel facilities such as hair dryers, coffee and tea facilities, safe deposit boxes, and many more, available to all their guests. The Company is now seeking the right talent for the combined role of Receptionist and Housekeeper to join their team and support their operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • A diploma in tourism and hospitality is a plus.
  • Proven experience in reception or housekeeping preferred (training can be provided).
  • Good computer literacy – able to use booking/reservation systems and email.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays, if required.
Responsibilities

A. RECEPTIONIST DUTIES:

  • Greet and assist guests in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Handle guest check-ins and outs efficiently using the hostel’s booking software.
  • Manage room reservations via phone, email, and online platforms.
  • Handle payments, issue invoices/receipts, and perform daily cash balancing.
  • Respond politely and promptly to guest inquiries, complaints, or requests
  • Maintain guest records accurately and ensure data confidentiality.
    Perform basic administrative tasks, including email correspondence and filing.

B. HOUSEKEEPING DUTIES:

  • Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to hostel standards.
  • Replenish room supplies, including toiletries, towels, and linens.
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to management.
  • Ensure housekeeping supplies are stocked and organized.
    Follow health, hygiene, and safety standards consistently.
