Lakeside Vets is seeking a professional, friendly, and organised Receptionist to join our welcoming team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of a busy, modern veterinary practice where no two days are the same. As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you'll play a key role in ensuring every visit starts with a positive experience.

Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, you'll help keep the practice running smoothly while providing outstanding service to pet owners and supporting our clinical colleagues behind the scenes.

What You'll Be Doing

In this varied and rewarding role, you'll manage the busy front desk and help coordinate the daily flow of appointments and client communications. From greeting clients and answering enquiries to processing payments and supporting administrative tasks, you'll be at the heart of the practice every day.

You'll also play an important role in maintaining a welcoming reception environment, assisting with stock and deliveries when required, and ensuring clients receive the highest standard of customer care. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm in a busy environment will help you excel in this position.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with previous experience in a customer-facing reception or customer care role who genuinely enjoys helping people. You'll be confident communicating with a wide range of clients, comfortable using computer systems, and able to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining a professional and friendly approach.

The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and reliable, with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering outstanding service. Experience within a veterinary environment would be an advantage, but it is not essential. What's most important is a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to providing an exceptional client experience.
