8th Wonder Ltd is a well-established and reputable supplier of Wooden & Plush Toys with 25 years’ experience in supplying High Street, Grocery & Online Retailers. We are looking for an enthusiastic Receptionist/Customer Service Advisor to join our growing team of admin staff in Wigan. You will be responsible for offering excellent customer service and a running our front of house, with a wide range of duties. You will be the first point of contact for customers and colleagues visiting/contacting. Furthermore, excellent customer service skills are essential for this role. This is a busy and varied role with responsibilities including answering calls, logging important information, staying on top of weekly office orders, and looking after any visitors etc.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for reception area, including greeting customers and providing a positive and welcoming experience.
Deliver exceptional customer service.
Keeping customers updated with relevant information and logging this.
Basic knowledge with programmes such as Excel, Teams, Word and PowerPoint.
Supporting with handling complaints in line with Company policy.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and service level agreements.
Knowledge and compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
Follow up with customers to identify areas for improvement.
Undertake day-to-day administration and reception duties including photocopying, faxing, filing, dealing with enquiries, maintaining mailing/contact lists and liaising with suppliers.
Open/distribute incoming mail and respond appropriately as directed.
Collect and process outgoing mail, keeping appropriate records.
Skills and experience:
Excellent customer service and communication skills, including by telephone, email and in face-to-face situations.
Basic knowledge with programmes such as: Excel, Teams, Word and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication & organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
Professional, positive, hard-working, and self-Motivated
Ability to work under your own initiative.
