You will provide a welcoming experience to all visitors, handle incoming calls, and support administrative functions across multiple departments. You will also provide ad-hoc cover for the PA to the Board, supporting high-level meeting arrangements and general administration.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a people-facing, multi-tasking environment and can represent the company with professionalism and confidence.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (minimum requirement).
  • Previous experience in a front-of-house or receptionist role.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Sage is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and administration capabilities with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Confident, calm, and professional demeanour.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and flexible with a positive approach to change.
Responsibilities
  • Welcome and sign in all visitors, provide refreshments, and ensure DCS policies are clearly communicated.
  • Manage incoming calls efficiently and professionally, ensuring accurate message delivery.
  • Maintain a clean, organised reception area and ensure the digital welcome screen reflects daily visitor activity.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services (excluding confidential items).
  • Provide administrative support to the Customer Service team, including posting samples and managing staff orders.
  • Assist with bookings for hotels, flights, and parking arrangements, especially for employees without company card access.

  • Monitor and replenish reception and general office stationery supplies.
