Receptionist/Dental Assistant

  • About the Dental Assistant role :

  • Fluent in English

  • Patient greeting
  • Maintain patient accounts and records
  • Answering and placing phone calls and answering client questions
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Prepare and send patient bills
  • Submit patient claims to insurance companies
  • Assist patients in filling out required intake and medical forms
  • Confirm appointments with patients via phone or email
  • Manage and organise specialist referrals
  • Keep track of office supplies and place orders for more supplies when necessary
  • Taking patient payments and preparing billing statements
  • Update patient insurance information
  • Sort and organise incoming and outgoing mail
  • Maintain petty cash available in the dental office
  • Ensure reception area is maintained and professional in appearance
  • Chair-side assistance for various treatments
  • Perform sterilization and infection control, maintain surgery hygiene.

About you-
· Fluent in English is a must. A second language would be a benefit.
· At least 1-years receptionist experience in dental practice is a must.
· Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and willing to learn attitudes
· Fast learner
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Ability to multi-task and work well within a team
· Ability to work independently as well as being a team player
· Experience in Dentally (not essential).
