We are an industry leading salon in Vancouver and proud of the environment that has been cultivated here with a team that has become more like a family.
We are looking for a receptionist who is friendly and welcoming to join our amazing team. Working out of our Point Grey location you will be the first point of contact for clients when booking and entering the salon as well as the last person they talk to when they leave. Because of this, we are looking for someone who can maintain exceptional customer service while multi-tasking in a fast paced environment.

SKILLS

  • Work experience as a Receptionist is preferred
  • Professional customer service and communication skills are necessary
  • Ability to multi-task in a client-facing role and work well under pressure
  • Must be willing to listen and effectively respond to a variety of people’s needs
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

  • Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet guests when they come to the salon
  • Professionally answer phones and emails and accurately book appointments
  • Manage schedule for stylists
  • Check and respond appropriately to emails
  • Check-out clients after their receive their services and when purchasing product
  • Ensure reception and retail area is presentable, clean and tidy
  • Manage inventory ordering and tracking
